Located in historic Rochester, New York, one of the last stops on the underground railroad, Delta Nu Omega serves as a community catalyst and change agent, bringing hope to the greater Rochester area.
Chartered in 1947, Delta Nu Omega is the 4 th graduate chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® in New York State. We continue to honor the vision of our charter members by leading transformational change, rooted in a legacy of service. Please take a moment to explore our website and become acquainted with us. Under the leadership of our International President Danette Anthony Reed, Delta Nu Omega is committed to our 2022-2026 International Programs, “ Soaring to Greater Heights of Service and Sisterhood.” This programming platform consists of 6 initiatives: Strengthen Our Sisterhood, Empower Our Families, Build Our Economic Wealth, Enhance Our Environment, Advocate for Social Justice and Uplift Our Local Community. For Members Only™ federal credit union, is the first black owned, women led, sorority based, digital banking institution in the United States.
The Members of Delta Nu Omega Chapter soar to greater heights of service and sisterhood through our commitment to fostering strong relationships and delivering exceptional community service.
We continue to actively seek opportunities to engage with the community, collaborate with community partners and offer programs and services that are impactful and sustainable. In 2022 the chapter began to provide weekend and holiday meals through CHIPP( Childhood Hunger Initiative Power Pack).
Over the past 20 years, in partnership with the Rochester Twenty Pearls Foundation, we have supported over $200,000 in college scholarships to local High School students.
